Our music will lift your heart and make your spirit soar!

Music enriches the spirit and gladdens the heart. Music adds hidur mitzvah (beauty) to our everyday and holiday worship and makes worship at Temple Sinai a unique and joyous experience. The music is familiar and inviting yet innovative and exciting.

Music is an integral part of worship at Temple Sinai and we offer a variety of musical worship experiences.

Intergenerational Choir

The IG Choir, directed by Ellen Keeney, is open to ALL members of Temple Sinai above the age of 13. We welcome new voices and all levels of musical ability! If you love to sing and are available for rehearsals, we would love to have you join us. Rehearsals are usually held on Wednesday evenings in the Barnett Chapel from 7:30-9 PM.  Contact Carol Rosenthal for more information.

Youth Choir

Join us in singing the songs of our people.  Youth choir rehearses on Sundays before Sunday School, performs select Friday night services and other events.  No audition required, if you love to sing we want to hear your voice!

The Temple Sinai Band is an intergenerational group of musicians who help to transmit the spirituality of the services to members of the congregation…and while we’re at it…we have a great time playing music!

We play for the Mostly Musical Shabbat services on the first Friday of the month and for some holidays. Occasionally we perform at community events. Rehearsals usually take place on Wednesdays in the Leebov Sanctuary.
