Youth Groups

Understanding that our school students need a Jewish framework in which to create the world of tomorrow, we support them in their efforts to
create a well-rounded Jewish Youth Group program that includes Jewish learning, social action, Jewish culture, Jewish ritual, and a community of
friends. Working in partnership with the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY), we strive to connect our students to other Reform
youth in the Pittsburgh area, Pennsylvania region, North America and around the world through retreats, summer camping, and Israel trips.

Club Sinai Jr. (K – 2nd Grade Youth Group):

Club Sinai Jr. is a wonderful introduction to Temple Sinai youth programs. It provides an opportunity for children and their families to learn, make friends, and connect to the Temple Sinai community! Events take place one Sunday per month, directly following Religious School.
Select Sundays, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Club Sinai (3rd – 5th Grade Youth Group):

Club Sinai provides programming for our 3rd-5th graders. It allows them a great opportunity to be social, learn, and make new friends within the Temple Sinai community. Events take place one Sunday per month, directly following Religious School.
Select Sundays, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

PARTY Jr. Pittsburgh Area Reform Temple Youth (6th – 8th Grade Youth Group):

PARTY Jr. provides opportunities for middle schoolers to be a part of an exciting youth organization which feeds directly into Temple Sinai’s senior youth group, PARTY. There are a variety of social, social action, and Judaic programs during the year.

PARTY Pittsburgh Area Reform Temple Youth (9th – 12th Grade Temple Youth Group):

PARTY is open to all high school students. Events, including social, Judaic and tikkun olam or social action programs, are planned, organized, and facilitated by members of PARTY and supervised by our Youth Advisor. PARTY is a member of NFTY (the North American Federation of Temple Youth), specifically the Pennsylvania Area Region. We are also part of NFTY-PGH, a sub-region that focuses on engaging youth groups in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. In addition to local events and programs, members of PARTY have the opportunity to attend several regional kallot (conventions) throughout the year. Through the many local and regional events, PARTYers are able to learn about themselves and explore what it means to be a part of an exciting Jewish youth community! Join us for fun events
including bowling, roller-blading, ice skating, and more.

Open Lounge Nights:

All teens from 8th-12th grade are welcome to hang out every week before Teen School in our new Youth Lounge. Pizza is available for $3, but the company and games are free! 7th grade students are welcome to the Teen Lounge after Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
