WoTS Youth Scholarship Program
The Women of Temple Sinai is offering a scholarship to help defray the cost of a Jewish educational experience while you’re in school and through the summer after you graduate from college.
Who is eligible?
To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a student in grades K–12 or in college at the time of the application.
- Have at least one Jewish parent or guardian who is a member in good standing of Temple Sinai.
- Have attended at least 3 months of Jewish education at Temple Sinai; and
- Have not received more than 2 WoTS Scholarships for a total amount of $750.
Scholarship Amount: up to $1,000
Applicants are encouraged to apply to other sources of funding such as Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, Birthright Israel, etc.
Application Requirements:
Completed application form with an essay on what you expect to learn or achieve through the educational experience. An interview (in person or by phone) may be substituted for the essay.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but must be received no later than 60 days before the start of the educational experience. Submit by mail or email to:
