Ways to Donate
Donate to Temple Sinai
What are the different ways I can contribute financially to Temple Sinai?
There are several ways to contribute to Temple Sinai. Listed below are some of the options, along with a contact person to help answer your questions.
Personal Card Banks
Temple Sinai members may open personal card banks to be used when making contributions to Temple Sinai Funds. For a minimum pre-payment of $50, cards will be sent at your request and deducted from your bank. For more information, or to establish your card bank, please call Lynn Naman, Bookkeeper, at 412-421-9715.
Pulpit Flower Fund
For a minimum contribution of $10.00 you can contribute to the Pulpit Flower Fund in memory of a loved one or in honor of a simcha. Contributions may be sent to Women of Temple Sinai, 5505 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
Temple Funds
For a minimum contribution of $10.00 (except the Inscription Funds), Temple Funds are a good way to honor the memory of a loved one or acknowledge a simcha. There are many funds from which to choose. In many cases families suggest a preferred fund for their lifecycle events.
Giant Eagle Gift Cards
Giant Eagle Gift Cards is an ongoing program that supports the congregation without costing you an additional penny! Please plan on purchasing gift cards through the synagogue. A percentage of every Giant Eagle gift card sold comes back to the Temple. Gift cards are available in $25, $50, and $100 denominations and can now be purchased at Temple Sinai on weekdays during business hours, on Sunday mornings during Religious School, or by US Mail--mail a check to Temple and your cards will be sent to you.
Brotherhood Car Donation Program
Donate your used vehicle to Temple for a tax deduction instead of trading it in or selling it yourself. Regardless of your vehicle’s condition, we’ll sell it for you at the Dealer Auction, and the proceeds will go to Temple. Please contact the Temple office for details, office@templesinaipgh.org.
Donate to Israel
Donate to URJ's 2006 Israel Emergency Fund: http://urj.org/give/
or to the UJF's Israel Relief: www.UJFpittsburgh.org/israelrelief
Please contact any member of the office staff at Temple Sinai for more information or to make a contribution: 412-421-9715 or office@templesinaipgh.org.
