Do you want to reduce gun violence in Pittsburgh?
We will be asking Police Chief Nate Harper, US Attorney General for Western PA David Hickton and Mayor Luke Ravensthal:
Will you implement the existing law that penalizes owners of stolen or lost guns when those guns are used in crimes?
Will you implement existing laws that trace the use of guns in violent crimes?
The Chief and the Attorney General have confirmed their attendance. We are still waiting to hear from the Mayor.

Do you want to improve public schools in Pittsburgh?
We will be asking Superintendant Dr. Linda Lane to ensure that the 2012-2013 budget provide for equitable funding for all communities.
Dr. Lane has confirmed her attendance.
Do you want the public transportation system to continue to be cut?
We will be asking nominees for Country Executive Rich Fitzgerald and D. Raja, and Governor Corbett to enact the proposals of the governor’s commission on transit in order to both stop the bleeding of our system and to invest in better transit.
Rich Fitzgerald has confirmed his attendance.
Do you want to ensure that Pittsburgh has good jobs and a stronger economy for all?
We will be asking nominees for Country Executive Rich Fitzgerald and D. Raja to ensure that transit building projects include funding for training and ensure that 30% of job hours go to minority and women apprentices. (Unemployment in Braddock and Homewood is as high as 50%.)

Do you want Pennsylvania to support civil rights for immigrants?
We will express our opposition to the pending state legislation “Homeland Security Begins at Home” which threatens to make Pennsylvania more like Alabama and Arizona.
We anticipate being over 1,000 strong and we want you to be a part of that strength.
