William K. Padnos, Executive Director
As Temple Sinai’s Executive Director, Bill Padnos is responsible for guiding the congregation’s facilities, finances, and leadership and membership activities. Bill holds a lifelong commitment to Judaism and has been energetically involved in synagogue life since he could remember, enabling him to partner well with our members, leadership and staff.
Before becoming Temple Sinai’s executive director, Bill and his family were active members of the Temple Sinai Community. Bill has worked as the Meetings Manager for TMS, Account Executive and Director of Meetings for the Center for Association Growth and Membership/Marketing Director at the Mayer Kaplan JCC in Skokie, IL. In addition to his strong association and conference management experience, Bill holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management (IOM) from the US Chamber of Commerce in 2003 and was designated as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) by the Convention Industry Council in 2003. Bill is a current member of of the National Association of Temple Administrators (NATA).
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University. He and his wife, Shari, have two young children.
